EAU CLAIRE, Wis.—The UW-Stevens Point men's and women's track and field teams each won two events at UW-Eau Claire Dick & Mary Johnson Invite.
 
Results
 
The men had first-place finishes from Sean Heetland (North Aurora, Ill./West Aurora) and Austin Rennhack (Columbus, Wis./Columbus). As well as a trio of second-place finishes from Blake Lobner (Wisconsin Rapids, Wis./Assumption), Reid Rydzewski (Random Lake, Wis./Random Lake) and Rennhack.
 
Heetland stopped the clock at 3:59.67 in the 1500-meter run.
 
Rennhack won the shot put with a mark of 16.36 meters. He also took second in the hammer throw with a mark of 55.70 meters.
 
Lobner took second in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:54.33.
 
Rydzewski posted a mark of 1.93 meters in the high jump to take second place.
 
The women saw a pair of first-place finishes from Natalie Johnson (Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie) and Guadalupe Corn (Keshena, Wis./Menominee Indian). As well as second-place finishes from Lindsey Jossie (Pulaski, Wis./Pulaski), Abbigail Schell (Wauwatosa, Wis./Wauwatosa East) and Madeline Zirbel (De Pere, Wis./De Pere).
 
Johnson won the steeplechase with a time of 11:56.93.
 
Corn took first in the shot put with a mark of 12.55 meters.
 
Jossie finished second in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:20.73.
 
Schell posted a second-place finish in the 1500-meter run with a time of 5:03.32.
 
Zirbel recorded a mark of 1.63 meters to take second place in the high jump.
 
The UWSP men's and women's track and field teams are back in action on Friday (May 2) for day one of the WIAC Outdoor Championships (presented by Culver's) in Oshkosh, beginning at 2:30 p.m.
