GLOUCESTER, Mass. – UW-Stevens Point men's hockey senior
Fletcher Anderson (Thunder Bay, Ont.) is a finalist for the Sid Watson Award for the third-consecutive year, the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) announced on Tuesday.

Anderson earns the finalist distinction after earning outright WIAC Player of the Year honors this season. He was co-Player of the Year the previous two seasons. He earned his third-straight All-WIAC first team award this year as well.
This year, Anderson led the WIAC with 36 points and 1.38 points per game. His 13 goals were seventh among WIAC skaters. He was second in assists to teammate
Nico Chmelevski (Northville, Mich.) and led all WAIC players with 100 shots.
He had 11 multi-point games this season and earned WIAC Player of the Week honors the final week the regular season.
The Sid Watson Award is given annually to the best NCAA Division II-III men's ice hockey player in the country. Anderson is one of 12 finalists and the recipient will be announced later this month at the DIII Frozen Four.
