GLOUCESTER, Mass. – The UW-Stevens Point men's and women's hockey programs combined for 17 recipients named to the Krampade All-American Scholars, the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) announced on Wednesday (July 8).

The UWSP women's team had 10 players earn honors. Those awarded were
Maddie Andrle (Blaine, Minn./Blaine),
Skyler Arneson (Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Simley),
Anne Beck (Grandville, Mich./Grandville),
Jenna Britz (Maple Grove, Minn./Wayzata),
Avery Engbrecht (Winona, Minn./Winona),
Emily Griege (Chesterfield, Mo./Westminster Christian Academy),
Amanda Pouchnik (Viola, Idaho/Moscow),
Alexis Ralston (River Falls, Wis./River Falls),
Claire Riestenberg (Plymouth, Minn./Armstrong) and
Grace Torma (Centerville, Minn./Centennial).
The men had seven players pick up the award. Those players were
Nico Chmelevski (Northville, Mich.),
Gino Colangelo (Newmarket, Ont.),
Michael Eftimovski (Toronto, Ont.),
Quinton Hill (Coquitlam, B.C.), Joe Manning,
Blake Norris (Warroad, Minn.) and
Alex Proctor (Allen, Texas).
To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 GPA for each semester, and had to appear in 40% of the team's games. Exceptions were granted to injured players and back-up goaltenders. Schools also were required to be members of the AHCA.
