BROWN DEER, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point swimming and diving teams remain in third after day three of the WIAC Championships (presented by Culver's). The men have a score of 457. The women have a score of 368.
Day Three Results
Scott Jenn (Madison, Wis./Memorial) claimed the WIAC title in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 50.61.
The 200-yard freestyle relay team of
Camden Barwick (Weston, Wis./D.C. Everest),
Jacob Biscan (Edina, Minn./Edina),
Peter McMahon (Whitefish Bay, Wis./Whitefish Bay) and
Matthew Loy (Mazomanie, Wis./Wisconsin Heights) took third with a time of 1:22.54.
Ryan Trantham (Mackinaw, Ill./Deer Creek Mackinaw) finished fourth in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:12.33.
David Anderson (Madison, Wis./West) posted a time of 1:43.77 to take fourth place in the 200-yard freestyle.
The 200-yard freestyle relay team of
Rose Hansen (Grand Rapids, Minn./Grand Rapids),
Kyler Ernst (Fountain City, Wis./Luther),
Hollyn Ambre (Batavia, Ill./Batavia) and
Anna Scheglowski (Northfield, Minn./Northfield) finished third with a time of 1:36.04.
Ambre took fourth in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:56.09.
Ryanne Strausbaugh (Muskego, Wis./Franklin) posted a sixth-place finish in the one-meter dive with a final score of 392.80.
The UWSP swimming and diving teams remain in Brown Deer for the final day of the WIAC Championships, preliminaries begin at 10:00 a.m. and finals begin at 5:45 p.m.
