STEVENS POINT, Wis. – UW-Stevens Point head women's basketball coach Matt Hockett has announced his team's schedule for the 2024-25 season. The Pointers will play 10 home games in Berg Gym and begin the season with an exhibition in Madison against the University of Wisconsin.

UWSP heads to Madison on Oct. 29 to play an exhibition game against the Wisconsin Badgers. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
 
The regular season begins on Nov. 8 with back-to-back non-conference games at the UWW tournament.
 
The Pointers' home opener in slated for Nov. 15 against St. Scholastica. The next day, UWSP hosts Concordia (Wis.) for the final home game in November.
 
A four-game road swing that includes stops in Indiana and Minnesota precedes the only home game in December. The Pointers take on Marian at 12:00 p.m. on Dec. 19. Two more games in Nashville, Tenn., close out December and non-conference play.
 
The first home conference game is on Jan. 8 against UW-Whitewater. A week later, the Pointers host UW-River Falls. Both games begin at 7:00 p.m.
 
The first half of league play concludes with the Pointers hosting UW-Eau Claire on Jan. 25. Following two more road conference games, UWSP wraps up the regular season four of the final five games at home.
 
Last season, the Pointers went 11-0 in non-conference play to climb into the top-25 poll for the first time since the 2016-17 season. All-conference selections Alexa Thomson (De Pere, Wis./West) and Gabby Gawlitta (Franklin, Wis./Franklin) lead a quartet of seniors on the 2024-25 squad.
