TEMPE, Ariz. – The UW-Stevens Point women's tennis team was awarded All-Academic Team honors by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), the organization announced Wednesday (July 24). Additionally, 14 women and six members of the men's team picked up Scholar-Athlete recognition.

The UWSP women's team was one of 167 Division III programs recognized by ITA. To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale), student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form, and varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.
In 2024, 1,079 Division III Men's student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, and 129 men's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
