College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced their at-large Academic All-District team on Tuesday (June 25), which included members of the men's hockey, women's hockey and women's golf teams. The men's honorees included
Nicholas Aromatario (Woodbridge, Ont.),
David Hill (Glen Mills, Pa.),
Brett Humberstone (Kingston, Ont.),
Isaac Moberg (St. Paul, Minn.),
Alex Proctor (Allen, Texas) and
Harrison Stewart (Rockford, Ill.). The women's honorees included
Sara Aadalen (Wayzata, Minn./Wayzata),
Maddie Andrle (Blaine, Minn./Blaine),
Bree Downie (Hortonville, Wis./Hortonville),
Courtney Leising (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove),
Jenny Marshall (Stoughton, Wis./Stoughton) and
Grace Torma (Centerville, Minn./Centennial).

Downie earns her second Academic All-District honor after her fourth season as a Pointer. Downie posted a formidable performance at the WIAC Championships finishing tied for 39th, shooting a 90 in round one, 89 in round two and an 85 in round three.

Stewart tallies his second Academic all-district honor. He tallied two goals, four assists and six points from the backline. Stewart was also honored as an AHCA Krampade All-America Scholar and earned a spot on the WIAC All-Sportsmanship team.

Aadalen is tabbed with her first CSC Academic All-District honor in her four-year stint with UWSP. She finished second on the team in goals (7) and points (12). In the WIAC, Aadalen ranked 15th in goals (7) and tied for 15th in assists (5). She additionally finished fifth in the conference in blocked shots with 36. Aadalen was also honored as an AHCA Krampade All-America Scholar.

Andrle logs her first career CSC Academic All-District honor as a sophomore forward. She finished third on the team in goals (4), assists (5) and points (9). In the WIAC, Andrle ranked tied for 18th with one game-winning goal. Andrle was also honored as an AHCA Krampade All-America Scholar.

Aromatario wraps his senior season with his first appearance on the CSC Academic All-District Team. He finished the season with three goals, five assists and eight points. In the WIAC, Aromatario finished tied for seventh in game-winning goals (2), ninth in blocked shots (32) and tied for 14th in plus/minus (8). He was also honored as an AHCA Krampade All-America Scholar.

Hill registers his first CSC Academic All-District Honor after a historic senior season. Hill set the school record in single-season empty net goals with three on the year. He also racked up 10 goals, six assists and 16 points. In the WIAC, Hill finished tied for first in short-handed goals (2) and eighth in goals (10).

Humberstone is a first timer on the CSC Academic All-District team. He finished the season with five goals, nine assists, and 14 points on the backline. In the WIAC, Humberstone ranked first in blocked shots (43) and fourth in plus/minus (+13). He was also honored as an All-WIAC First Team selection. Humberstone was also honored as an AHCA Krampade All-America Scholar.

Leising caps off her first season as a dual-sport athlete with her first career CSC Academic All-District Honors. In women's hockey, she led the Pointers in goals (13), assists (7) and points (20). In the WIAC, Leising finished fifth in goals (13) and goals per game (0.46) and 10th in points per game (0.71) as an All-WIAC First Team selection. Leising was also honored as an AHCA Krampade All-America Scholar. In women's lacrosse, she led the team in assists (16) and draw controls (61) while finishing second on the team in goals (25), points (41), ground balls (50) and caused turnovers (23). Leising finished second in the WIAC in caused turnovers per game (1.92) as an All-WIAC Honorable Mention selection.

Marshall is tabbed with her first CSC All-District honor. The two-time WIAC All-Sportsmanship team recipient finished tied for 52nd at the WIAC Championships, shooting a 91 in round one, 93 in round two and 91 again in round three. Marshall posted a season-best finish tied for 10th at UW-Stout Spring Invite, shooting an 82.

Moberg takes home his first CSC Academic All-District honor. He finished his senior season with two goals, seven assists and nine points. In the WIAC, Moberg finished tied for third in short-handed goals (1), fifth in face-off wins (245) and 11th in face-off win percentage (.537). Moberg was also honored as an AHCA Krampade All-America Scholar.

Proctor earns his first career CSC Academic All-District honor after a stellar sophomore season in goal. He finished with 660 saves, a .923 save percentage and an 18-5-2 record. In the WIAC, Proctor finished second in the WIAC in saves (660), save percentage (.923) and saves per game (25.38). He was also honored as an All-WIAC First Team selection.

Torma registers her first appearance on a CSC Academic All-District team. She played in all 28 games in her sophomore season, racking up one goal, two assists and three points from the backline. Torma also logged a career-high 18 shots. Torma was also honored as an AHCA Krampade All-America Scholar.

The UWSP men's hockey team finished as the WIAC regular season and tournament champions, finishing with a 21-6-2 overall record, 13-2-0 in the WIAC. The team also qualified for the NCAA Tournament.

The UWSP women's hockey team wrapped the year with an 8-18-2 overall record and 3-9-0 record in the WIAC. The team notched a 2-1 victory over Northland in the first round of the WIAC Tournament.

The UWSP women's golf team finished fifth in the conference at the WIAC Tournament.

To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his/her current institution.
