Bradley Comer (Rhinelander, Wis./Rhinelander) was named to the ABCA NCAA Div. III Region 9 All-Defensive team, the organization announced last week.

Comer became one of 10 third basemen that were finalists for ABCA Gold Glove honors also announced last week. This season, Comer posted a.936 fielding percentage at the hot corner with just six errors in 94 chances and he added 65 assists.
An ABCA and d3baseball All-America selection this season, Comer led the Pointers in hitting this season with a .371 batting average. He clubbed a team-high 14 home runs to set the UWSP program record with 51 career long balls. Comer also became the UWSP career leader in runs batted in (251) and hits (320) after leading the team in both categories this season.
Comer was a perfect 12-for-12 in stolen bases this season, tied for the team lead. He was the top slugger as well with a team-best .700 slugging percentage.
On April 21, Comer homered twice in each game of a doubleheader against UW-Platteville. He hit two more home runs on April 23 against Lawrence, his third-straight multi-home run game. He had a team-best 17-game hitting streak from April 20 to May 9, 13 of which were multi-hit outings.
Amid the hitting streak, Comer was named the WIAC Player of the Week for the second time in his career. He was also an all-region and All-WIAC first team selection this season.
