STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point volleyball schedule for the 2024 season has been finalized, head coach Lyndsay Klapper announced. Her team will play 11 home matches over nine home dates this fall. The Pointers will face 10 opponents that were in last season's NCAA Tournament.

UWSP will begin the season on Aug. 30 against Cornell, one of the 10 NCAA Tournament foes, at the Aurora Tournament. The Pointers play two more matches in Illinois to close out the weekend.
 
The Pointers will host the WIAC/MWC Quad and face Lakeland in the home opener on Sept. 4. UWSP will also face St. Norbert as part of the evening's action.
 
Five out-of-state opponents at two different tournaments await before the Pointers open league play at home versus UW-Eau Claire on Sept. 18. The five-game homestand continues with the annual Pointers Invitational on Sept. 20 and 21 with matches against Concordia (Minn.), Carthage and Augsburg. The homestand concludes with UW-Stout in town on Sept. 25.
 
Three games along the Mississippi River follow with a tri at Dubuque and a league match at UW-La Crosse. A pair of Illinois foes – Augustana and Wheaton – come to town for the Papa John's Invite on Oct. 11 and 12. Five away matches, four against NCAA Tournament teams, follows.
 
On Oct. 26, the Pointers will host UW-Oshkosh for "Pack the House" night in an attempt to break the NCAA DIII regular season attendance record. The Pointers and Titans will face off in Quandt Fieldhouse, the first-ever UWSP home match in the facility.
 
The home finale and Senior Day is on Nov. 2 against Chicago. Road conference matches sandwich the UC match to conclude the regular season.
 
Last season, the Pointers went 23-11 and reached the NCAA Tournament regional semifinal against national runner-up Hope. All-WIAC selections Ashley Kopp (Muskego, Wis./Muskego) and Grace Michalske (Wausau, Wis./West) lead a solid group of returners for the Pointers in 2024.
