Box Score WINONA, Minn. – The UW-Stevens Point women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision at DII Winona State on Sunday.
 
Maya Kunze (Stevens Point, Wis./Pacelli) played a close match at No. 5 singles coming back from a 6-0 set one defeat to take the second set to 7-5.
 
Tristin Jantz (Salem, Wis./Westosha Central) won five games at No. 1 singles. Brooklyn Steier won four games at No. 4 singles. At No. 3 singles, Jordan Scharf (Wauwatosa, Wis./West) won three games..
 
Chloe Leithold (Onalaska, Wis./Onalaska) teamed with Steier at No. 2 doubles in an 8-3 defeat. Jantz and Scharf at No. 1 doubles and the duo of Kunze and Abigail Ashley (Green Bay, Wis./Bay Port) at No. 3 doubles each fell, 8-1.
 
The Pointers travel to Augustana on Saturday (Feb. 10) for an 11:00 a.m. match.
