UW-Stevens Point volleyball garnered four honorees on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District teams announced Tuesday (Dec. 12). Seniors
Erin Gillen (Richfield, Wis./Slinger) and
Summer Salettel (Beaver Dam, Wis./Beaver Dam) along with juniors
Ashley Kopp (Muskego, Wis./Muskego) and
Grace Michalske (Wausau, Wis./West) received accolades.

Kopp adds a second-straight academic all-district selection to her lengthy repertoire of honors. Last month, Kopp earned her third AVCA All-America nod after leading the nation in total points (667.5) and total kills (593). She racked up 24 double-doubles on the season and moved in the to top-7 in school history in both career kills and career digs.

Gillen grabs her first career academic all-district nod. She played in 43 sets over 22 matches. She added 50 digs, nine service aces and four assists. She has also earned WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll three times in her career.

Michalske picks up her first career academic all-district laurel. She led the WIAC in both assists (1,205) and service aces (68) this season, Michalske earned All-WIAC first team honors for the second-straight season. She added 240 digs, 23 blocks and 29 kills this season.

Salettel also nabs her first career academic all-district honor. She played in 107 sets over 32 matches this season. Salettel totaled 115 kills, 64 digs, 58 blocks and two assists on the season. She was also a WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll selection in 2022-23.

The Pointers reached the NCAA Tournament regional semifinals, falling in five sets to eventual national runner-up Hope. It was the sixth appearance in the NCAA tournament in the last 10 seasons.
