LEXINGTON, Ky. – The UW-Stevens Point volleyball team earned the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the seventh-consecutive season. It is also the 11th time in the last 13 years that UWSP has won the award.

UWSP was one of eight WIAC teams and one of 1,432 collegiate and high school volleyball teams honors.
 
The award, initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.30 on a 4.0 scale or 4.10 on a 5.0 scale.
 
The 2026 season begins on September 4 against Wartburg College at the Carthage Tournament in Kenosha, Wis.
