STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point swimming and diving team wrapped up the Point Invite on Saturday.  The men fell to Gustavus Adolphus in the super dual, 1353.5 to 1264.5, while the women came up short, 1554 to 1251.
 
Results
 
For the men, Jacob Larsen (Albany, Wis./Oregon), William Buhler (Racine, Wis./William Horlick), Gus Grimstad (Decorah, Iowa/Decorah) and Owen Miller (Mequon, Wis./Mequon) won the 200-yard medley relay clocking in at 1:34.26.  Larsen tied for first place in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 52.22.
 
Miller edged out Buhler to win the 100-yard breaststroke 59.17 to 59.20.  Miller also took first in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 21.46.
 
Evan Plummer (Eau Claire, Wis./Memorial) won both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events.  His scores were 425.15 and 436.45, respectively.
 
Caiden Kuehn (Eagan, Minn./Eagan) placed first in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:47.28.
 
Alec Jeffers (Green Bay, Wis./Bay Port) won the 200-yard backstroke in the time of 1:59.01
 
Larsen, Sam Young (Verona, Wis./Middleton), Cooper Porzondek (Chippewa Falls, Wis./Chippewa Falls) and Miller finished second in the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:13.72.
 
For the women, Kasey Fris (New Lenox, Ill./Lincoln Way West) took first in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:49.69, 12 seconds faster than the runner up.  She also won the 200-yard backstroke touching at 2:11.39.
 
Anna Pilecky (DeForest, Wis./DeForest) finished first in the 200-yard freestyle touching at 1:59.85.
 
Carolyn Powell (Olney, Ill./Richland County) won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:11.61.
 
 
Claire Neuberger (Libertyville, Ill./Libertyville) took top billing in the 1-meter dive with a score of 391.70.
The team of Fris, Powell, Joy Vandenberg (Black Creek, Wis./Appleton North) and Haley Dees (Normal, Ill./West) placed second in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:53.39.
