OSHKOSH, Wis. – Junior Anna Dobbe (La Crosse, Wis./Onalaska Luther) won her singles match, but the UW-Stevens Point women's tennis team (3-4, 1-2) fell at UW-Oshkosh (3-2, 1-2) in a conference dual, 8-1.

Dobbe won her matchup at the No. 6 singles by a 6-3, 6-1 score to salvage a point for UWSP.  She also teamed with Katie Bechard (Sheboygan, Wis./North) in the No. 3 doubles and played to a tiebreaker, 8-7, before coming up just short.
 
UWSP's No. 1 doubles pairing of Barbara Covek (Barrington, Ill./Barrington) and Jenna Koepp (Watertown, Wis./Watertown) fell by an 8-4 final.  Kaylee Woelfel (Plymouth,Wis/Plymouth) dropped a 6-2, 6-3 decision at No. 3 singles.
 
The Pointers turn around and play at Lakeland on Friday (Sept. 27) with action beginning at 4:00 p.m. in Plymouth.
