STEVENS POINT, Wis. – UW-Stevens Point Director of Athletics Brad Duckworth announced today (July 29) the naming of Mark Puls as UWSP's head women's golf coach.
 
"I look forward to the opportunity to represent the women's golf program at UWSP," said Puls.  "I hope to maximize the student-athlete's abilities to perform on the course and create a team atmosphere that is challenging and supportive."
 
Puls is also the current director of golf at the Stevens Point Country Club, a position he has held since 2017.
 
His prior experience includes head golf professional at the Hollywood Beach Golf Course and The Country Club at Mirasol in Florida.  In addition, Puls spent eight years as the director of instruction at John Jacobs' Golf Schools.
 
Puls played collegiately at UW-Eau Claire, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in interpersonal communication.
