REEDSBURG, Wis. – Senior Kate Downie (Hortonville, Wis./Hortonville) took third place at the WIAC Championship (presented by Culver's) which concluded on Sunday.

Top UWSP Individual:  Downie birdied two holes on the back nine to remain in third place at the end of the tournament. It is the highest individual placement since her sister Bree was second following the lowest round in championship history in 2021.
Notables: Jenna Britz (Maple Grove, Minn./Wayzata) knocked 13 strokes off her score from the second round to move up the 16th by the end of the tournament. Martina Hudaj (Muskego, Wis./Muskego) had a pair of birdies and placed 22nd.

Top Team:  UW-Stout won its second-straight WIAC Championship winning by 48 strokes.
Top Individual: UW-Stout's Julia Imai beat her teammate Brin Neumann by three strokes.
