BROWN DEER, Wis. - The UW-Stevens Point men's swimming and diving team won their 20th-straight WIAC Championship with a score of 816. On the final day of the WIAC Championships (presented by Culver's), the Pointers extended their 44-point lead into a victorious 95-point margin. The women placed in fourth with a score of 541.
Michael Mills (Fox Point, Wis./Nicolet) was named the Max Sparger Scholar-Athlete at Saturday's championship.

Jacob Aegerter (Cross Plains, Wis./Middleton) won the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:50.19, his third-consecutive title in the event.
Sam Young (Verona, Wis./Middleton) won his second individual title of the weekend with a victory in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:03.42.
Young and Aegerter swam the first and fourth legs of the 400-yard freestyle with
Grant Moser (St. Michael, Minn./St. Michael-Albertville) and
Reilly Donnellan (Neenah, Wis./Neenah). The pair earned a runner-up finish with a time of 3:04.60.
Alec Jeffers (Green Bay, Wis. /Bay Port) and
Jacob Adamski (Mason City, Iowa/Mason City) earned a fifth- and seventh-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke. The pair finished with times of 1:53.64 and 1:57.85, respectively.
Donnellan and Moser placed fifth and eighth in the 100-yard freestyle. The pair recorded times of 46.93 and 47.52, respectively.
Cal Straub (Van Dyne, Wis./Appleton West) earned a sixth-place finish in the three-meter diving. He finished with a score of 265.95.
On the women's side,
Anna Pilecky (DeForest, Wis./DeForest) won the 1,650-yard freestyle crown. She won the event with a time of 17:09.61, setting a conference, school and pool record.
Jess Posch (New Lenox, Ill./Lincoln-Way Central) earned a fifth-place finish in the one-meter diving event. She finished with a score of 369.95.
Maddie Taylor (Rockford, Ill./East) touched a time of 2:31.91 in the 200-yard breaststroke, good for a fifth-place finish.
Murron Roff (Antigo, Wis./Antigo) earned a sixth-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:12.78.
Sydney Richetto (Wausau, Wis./East) and
Maggie Liska (North St. Paul, Minn. /Mahtomedi) came in 13th and 14th in the 100-yard freestyle. The pair earned times of 55.11 and 55.14.
The Pointers await their fate to find out who qualifies for the NCAA Division III Championships.
