MARQUETTE, Mich.- The UW-Stevens Point swimming and diving team was swept by Northern Michigan University in a dual on Saturday. Both teams fell short, the men with a score of 206-106 and the women with a score of 218-88.
 
Results
 
William Buhler (Racine, Wis./William Horlick) topped the 100-yard breaststroke with a finishing time of 1:00.00. Following in second was Sam Young (Verona, Wis./Middleton), finishing with a final time of 1:00.24.
 
Evan Plummer (Eau Claire, Wis.) finished first in the three-meter dive with a score of 478.35.
 
Alec Jeffers (Green Bay, Wis./Bay Port) finished second in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 54.43. Caiden Kuehn (Eagan, Minn./Eagan) followed finishing in third with a final time of 56.10.
 
Jacob Aegerter (Cross Plains, Wis./Middleton) finished second in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:56.68. Aegerter also finished second in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 52:38. Jacob Larsen (Albany, Wis./Oregon) followed in third with a final time of 54.29.
 
Jeffers took second in the 200-yard backstroke with a final time of 1:58.94. Young finished second in the 200-yard breast with a final time of 2:10.31.
 
Young and Aegerter took third and fourth in the 400-yard IM finishing in 4:16.64 and 4:25.70, respectively.
 
Claire Neuberger (Libertyville, Ill./Libertyville) and Jessica Posch took the top two spots in the one-meter dive with final scores of 390.30 and 333.90, respectively.
 
Shelby Gain (Racine, Wis./Racine Case) finished second in the 200-yard IM with a final time of 2:39.40. Anna Pilecky (DeForest, Wis./DeForest) took second in the 500-yard freestyle finishing in 5:22.40. Haley Dees (Normal, Ill./West) finished third behind Pilecky in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:37.
 
Pilecky and Kathryn Fix (Grafton, Wis./Grafton) took third and fourth in the 1000-yard freestyle, finishing with respective times of 10:55.88 and 12:19.36.
 
Dees finished third in the 200-yard freestyle with a final time of 2:05.12. Finishing in fourth was Katie Koehler (Franklin, Wis./Franklin) with a final time of 2:13.34.
 
Signe Alger (Saint Peter, Minn./Saint Peter) finished third in the 100-yard backstroke with a final time of 1:03.55. Tiana Cachuela (Oakdale, Minn./Park) finished third in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:22.91.
 
The Pointers return home on Nov. 23 to host a conference dual against UW-Whitewater.  Action at the UWSP Aquatics Center is set to begin at 1:00 p.m.
