In singles, Jenna Koepp (Watertown, Wis./Watertown) had the best showing of the day in the No. 2 singles slot. She fell in a tiebreaker with scores of 4-6, 6-0 (10-4).


Doubles duo Barbara Covek (Barrington, Ill./Barrington) and Koepp lost a hard-fought match in the No. 1 slot with a score of 8-6.


The Pointers are back at Fox Cities Raquet Club in Appleton, Wis., on Saturday (Oct. 12) to take on UW-La Crosse starting at 12:00 p.m.
