STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's tennis team fell to undefeated UW-Whitewater by a score of 9-0.

In singles, Barbara Covek (Barrington, Ill./Barrington), Anna Dobbe (La Crosse, Wis./Onalaska Luther), and Katie Bechard (Sheboygan, Wis./North) were able to earn one point against their opponents with scores of 6-0, 6-1.

Doubles duo Alison Bognar (Minocqua, Wis./Lakeland Union ) and Kaylee Woelfel (Plymouth,Wis/Plymouth) had the best doubles showing of the day in the No. 3 slot against UWW. They fell by a score of 8-3.

The Pointers will hit the road on Saturday (Oct. 5) to take on the North Central Cardinals and the MSOE Raiders starting at 1:00 p.m.
