WHITEWATER, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's tennis team (2-8, 0-4) suffered a 9-0 loss at UW-Whitewater (3-1, 3-0) in conference action on Wednesday.

Anna Dobbe (Stoddard, Wis./Onalaska Luther) had another strong showing for the Pointers. She took her No. 2 singles opponent the distance in a 6-4, 7-5 defeat.
Dobbe also paired with
Angelica Hernandez (Blue Island, Ill./Dwight D. Eisenhower) in an 8-4 loss in the No. 2 doubles.
Kaylee Woelfel (Plymouth,Wis/Plymouth) fell in the No. 3 singles by a 6-3, 6-1 score.
Rebecca Goska (Green Bay, Wis./Preble) moved up the No. 5 singles and fell by a 6-1, 6-1 score.
The Pointers return to action on Thursday, Oct. 4 with a 2:30 p.m. home match against UW-Oshkosh.
