Anna Dobbe (Stoddard, Wis./Onalaska Luther) earned a singles win and went to a tiebreak in her doubles match, but the UW-Stevens Point women's tennis team (0-5) fell at Marian on Friday by a score of 8-1.

Dobbe dispatched of her No. 2 singles opponent by a 6-1, 6-2 score, the first win of the year for the Pointers. She paired with
Angelica Hernandez (Blue Island, Ill./Dwight D. Eisenhower) in the No. 2 doubles and fell, 9-8, in a tiebreaker.
Freshman
Kaylee Woelfel (Plymouth,Wis/Plymouth) went to a tiebreaker in her opening set of the No. 3 singles, but came up just short in a 6-7, 4-6 defeat.
The Pointers return home on Sunday to face Lakeland at 10:30 a.m. and UW-River Falls at 1:30 p.m. at University Courts.
