STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's tennis team (0-2) fell to visiting UW-Stout (1-0) and St. Norbert (1-0) by identical 9-0 scores.

Sophomore
Anna Dobbe (Stoddard, Wis./Onalaska Luther) won the Pointers' lone set of the day in her No. 2 singles match against UW-Stout. She fell by 6-1 set scores in her other four singles sets on the day.
Freshman Rebecca Goska took her opponent to a tiebreaker before a 7-5, 6-1 defeat in the No. 6 singles against the Blue Devils.
The Pointers had a couple of close matches in doubles play. Dobbe and partner
Angelica Hernandez (Blue Island, Ill./Dwight D. Eisenhower) fell to UW-Stout, 8-5, in No. 2 doubles. Kaylee Woelfel and
Miranda Schueler (Watertown, Wis./Watertown) had an 8-6 final in the No. 3 doubles against St. Norbert.
UWSP travels to La Crosse next weekend to play Winona State and UW-La Crosse at 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., respectively, on Saturday (Sept. 8).
