STEVENS POINT, Wis. – Sign up for UW-Stevens Point summer volleyball camps is now open.

The Pointers will hold nine camps May through August for volleyball players entering fifth to 12th grades this fall, as well as a two-day Pointer Pups camp for youth ages kindergarten through eighth grade in July. Camp registration is currently open at http://www.pointersvolleyballcamps.com/ .

A variety of camps will be held, starting on May 11 with the Pointers ID Camp. This camp is for 9th-12th graders looking to see what it takes to be a collegiate student-athlete. A three-day Hitter-Setter-Libero Camp follows, for 8th-12th graders on July 8-10. On July 10-12, UWSP hosts the Pointers Volleyball Academy for 5th-12th graders offering maximum repetitions and daily competitions.

Pointers Volleyball will feature a three-day Servers Camp on July 11-13, which is available for grades 5th-12th. This camp is designed to develop the fundamentals of serving for beginners to advanced campers. The Pointers Coaching Clinic, July 13, welcomes middle school, high school and club coaches to learn from the UWSP volleyball coaching staff and student-athletes. The Pointers Team Camp invites 7th-12th graders to prepare for the upcoming 2018 season on July 13-15.

The Pointer Pups summer camp is for boys and girls entering grades K-8 on July 16-17, and focuses on developing all volleyball skills. A one-day Positions Clinic is also available on July 18 for players looking to grow and improve in their specific position. The Pointers final camp of the summer is the Elite/Prospect Camp on August 1-3 for those entering grades 9th-12th and incoming UWSP Students.
