STEVENS POINT, Wis. - The UW-Stevens Point swimming and diving teams dominated UW-Oshkosh with 22 event wins in a conference dual victory on Friday. The women won with a score of 158 to Oshkosh's 74 and the men won 151 to 69.
Results
Jess Posch (New Lenox, Ill./Lincoln-Way Central) won the one- and three-meter diving events. She earned scores of 208.95 and 179.95.
Sydney Richetto (Wausau, Wis./East) won the 200-yard freestyle. Her time of 2:02.76 was four seconds faster than the runner-up. Richetto also claimed a win in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 55.71.
Maggie Liska (North St. Paul, Minn. /Mahtomedi), Richetto,
Ava Magee (Oregon, Wis./Oregon) and
Kyra Goedken (Green Bay, Wis. /Ashwaubenon) won the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:42.85.
Liska, Goedken and Julia De Groot won the top-3 spots of the 50-yard freestyle. They swam times of 25.31, 26.49 and 26.55.

Grace Gundrum (Pewaukee, Wis./Catholic Memorial),
Anna O'Malley (St. Charles, Ill./East) and Liska won the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:52.31. Teammates
Kaylee Benson (Elk River, Minn./Elk River),
Breanna Ruffolo (Manitowoc, Wis./Lincoln),
Grace Gallagher (Bloomington, Ill. /Normal West) and Goedken followed up with a second-place finish in a time of 1:56.25.
Magee also picked up a win in the 100-yard backstroke. She swam a time of 1:03.99, two seconds faster than the runner-up.
O'Malley later went on to win the 200-yard IM in a time of 2:20.05. O'Malley also claimed a second win in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:00.72.
Anna Pilecky (DeForest, Wis./DeForest) won the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:42.46, approximately 45 seconds faster than the runner up. Pilecky also earned a win the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:18.99, out swimming her opponents by 36 seconds.
Halee Fritsch (Appleton, Wis./West) earned a runner-up position in the 100-yard breaststroke. She swam a time of 1:17.04.
For the men,
Reilly Donnellan (Neenah, Wis./Neenah), Zach Jorgenson,
Harrison Stasik (Greendale, Wis./Greendale), and
Riley Pankratz (Fond du Lac, Wis./Fond du Lac) won the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:28.76, four seconds faster than the runner up.
Jorgenson won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 55.87. He also picked up a win in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:00.16.
Stasik won the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 50.00.
Sam Young led seven other Pointers as he won the 200-yard IM. He touched a time of 1:56.59, seven seconds faster than the runner-up.
Payton Kilian (Coon Rapids, Minn./Spring Lake Park) claimed the runner-up position touching a time of 2:03.95.
Jacob Aegerter (Cross Plains, Wis./Middleton) won the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 51.93. Young grabbed a runner-up position in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 55.20.

Ryan McPherson (Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Tartan) and
Zachary Gaschignard (Madison, Wis./East) claimed the top-3 spots of the 50-yard freestyle. They swam respectable times of 21.33, 22.67, and 23.83
Grant Moser (St. Michael, Minn./St. Michael-Albertville),
Matthew Inserra (Mount Prospect, Ill./Prospect),
Caleb Vollmers (Milwaukee, Wis./Wauwatosa West) and
Jacob Adamski (Mason City, Iowa/Mason City) dominated the top-4 spots of the 200-yard freestyle. The quartet earned times of 1:47.28, 1:50.04, 1:53.26 and 1:55.15. Moser also won the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:53.85.
Alec Jeffers (Green Bay, Wis. /Bay Port),
William Buhler (Racine, Wis./William Horlick), McPherson and Kilian won the 200-yard medley relay relay touching a time of 1:39.75.
Caleb Meixner (Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie), Aegerter, Inserra and Stasik finished in second with a time of 1:40.45. Three other relays followed with third-, fourth- and fifth-place finishes.
Jeffers also picked up a runner-up position in the 1,000-yard freestyle. He touched a time of 10:46.68.
Ryan Kreft (Princeton, Minn./Princeton) earned a second-place finish in the one-meter diving event. He earned a score of 187.35.
Maxwell Schauer earned the runner-up position in the three-meter diving event. He earned a score of 158.50.
Up next, the Pointers keep action at home as they host the Point Invite on Jan. 18 and 19, 2019. The first race is slated to begin at 10:00 a.m.
