EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's tennis team (2-10, 0-6) wrapped up the fall regular season with a 9-0 loss at UW-Eau Claire (5-1, 4-1) on Friday.

Angelica Hernandez (Blue Island, Ill./Dwight D. Eisenhower) has UWSP's best showing in singles with a 6-2, 6-1 defeat at No. 4. 
 
Lea Beckman (Merrill, Wis./Merrill) won a point in each set of her No. 5 singles, but fell 6-1, 6-1.  Leah Hollander (Portage, Wis./Portage) at No. 1 singles and Rebecca Goska (Green Bay, Wis./Preble) at No. 6 singles lost by identical 6-0, 6-1 scores.
 
The Pointers head to Madison next week for the WIAC Championships.  UWSP will serve as host of the event which begins at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20.
