MADISON, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point softball team's outfield was well represented on the All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athlete Conference team that was announced on Tuesday.  Junior left fielder Paige Allen (South Elgin, IL/South Elgin) and sophomore center fielder Morgan Johnson (Combined Locks, WI/Kaukauna) were selected to the first team.  Freshman Natalie Yahn (Wauwautosa, Wis./East) earned WIAC All-Sportsmanship team honors.

Allen picks up her second league honor after an honorable mention nod her freshman season.  She hit .358 on the year and led UWSP with six home runs.  During conference play, she hit three home runs and batted .340 with a team-high 10 RBI.  Allen had UWSP's longest hitting streak of the season at 11 games, six on which spanned the beginning of conference action.
 
Johnson collects her first league accolade after leading the Pointers with a .408 batting average during WIAC play.  A catalyst at the top of the UWSP lineup, Johnson topped the team in runs scored during conference games.  On the year, she hit .343 with 11 RBI, 16 runs scored and four doubles.  Johnson had multiple hits in seven conference games, including a career-best 5-for-5 outing against UW-Whitewater on April 14.
 
Yahn played in eight games in her first season as a Pointer.  In the season finale, her perseverance paid off as she collected her first career hit as a pinch hitter.  Yahn played in three conference games, getting her first career start at UW-Platteville on April 1.
 
UWSP ended the season in a tie for seventh in the league standing at 3-11.  Overall, the Pointers were 12-24 on the year.
