Logan Hermsen (Amherst Junction, WI/Amherst) and sophomore
Donny Ralston (Ladysmith, WI/Bruce) won their respective weight classes at the NCAA Midwest Regionals. Junior
Dylan Diebitz (West Allis, WI/West Allis) placed third in his weight class, winning the wrestle back bracket. All three earn a spot in the NCAA Championships in two weeks.

Hermsen improved to 32-2 on the year with a pair of decision wins today. In the semifinals, he won a 6-4 decision over Wheaton's Stephen Aiello. In the finals of the 165 weight class, Hermsen took a 9-2 decision over Wabash's Connor Brummett.
In the 285 weight class, Ralston earned a 6-1 decision win over North Central's Emonte Logan. Ralston took the finals match by 7-3 decision downing Olivet's Jesse Judge.
Diebitz had a longer route to reach the next stage. In round three of the wrestle back, he won by fall at 2:46 over Olivet's Kyle Carter. In the consolation semis, he defeated Otterbein's Drew Kasper by 10-6. Diebitz won third place in the 197 weight class by taking down North Central's Tyler Vittal by 6-4 decision.
As a team, the Pointers finished seventh with 56.0 points. Diebitz, Hermsen and Ralston will head to La Crosse on March 10-11 for the NCAA Championships.
