STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's tennis team fell 9-0 to conference foe UW-Eau Claire on Saturday afternoon at Sentry World.

The doubles pair of Emily Kleist (Muskego, Wis./Muskego) and Abbey Johnson (Black River Falls, Wis./Black River Falls) teamed up to take two games from Sarah Henderson and Kendra Berry, but fell 8-2, in the No. 1 doubles match.

Erin Lemmer (Wausau, Wis./East) fared the best in singles play falling, 6-0 and 6-3. Both Angelica Hernandez (Blue Island, Ill./Dwight D. Eisenhower) and Johnson both took two games from their opponents.

The Pointers will travel to Madison for the WIAC Championships on October 21 and 22.
