STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's tennis team (7-6) was shut out by visiting UW-La Crosse (7-2) in conference action at SentryWorld on Friday afternoon, 9-0.

The doubles duo of Elizabeth Wilichowski (Sussex, Wis./Sussex-Hamilton) and Anna Dobbe (Stoddard, Wis./Onalaska Luther) scored four points in the closest doubles matchup, 8-4.    Senior Erin Lemmer (Wausau, Wis./East) and Kaylee Roberts (Baraboo, Wis./Baraboo) teamed up for an 8-2 loss in the No. 2 doubles.
 
Lemmer and Wilichowski fared best in singles action. Lemmer fell in the No. 2 singles, 6-2 and 6-1.  Wilichowski dropped the first set, 6-2, before a 6-0 set two score.
 
The Pointers wrap up the fall regular season on Saturday with an 11:00 a.m. match against UW-Eau Claire.  The match will be at University Courts, weather permitting, or will be played at SentryWorld.
