ELMHURST, Ill. – Junior
Cody Nielsen (Oconto Falls, WI/Oconto Falls) won the Most Falls/Least Time Award and was one of three Pointers to take home championships at the Al Hanke Invitational on Saturday. Nielsen had three falls in a total time of 6:03 and earned a 6-5 decision on his way to the title in the 174 weight class.

Team Standings
Sophomore
Donny Ralston (Ladysmith, WI/Bruce) also had a trio of falls and earned a 5-4 decision in the second round to take the title in the heavyweight class.
Senior
Logan Hermsen (Amherst Junction, WI/Amherst) took the championship in the 165 weight class. He had a fall in the second round and beat Elmhurst's Tim Noverini by a 1-0 decision in the final.
With the three titles, UW-Stevens Point earned the team title as well with 113 points, knocking off host Elmhurst by 3.5 points.
Junior
Joey Seitz (Campbellsport, WI/Kewaskum) picked up four wins en route to a third-place finish in the 149 weight class. Fellow junior
Joe Crook (Spring Green, WI/River Valley) had a pair of falls in the 157 weight class, including one in 30 seconds over Elmhurst's Victor Keane.
Freshman
Frank Lor (Wausau, WI/Wausau) took fifth-place in the 141 weight class. He earned four wins in the bracket.
UWSP will return to conference action when the Pointers host UW-Eau Claire on Thursday (Jan. 19) at Berg Gym at 7:00 p.m.
