CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. – Joey Seitz (Cambellsport, WI/Kewaskum) posted a fifth-place finish at 141-pounds on Saturday at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional as the UW-Stevens Point wrestling team finished 11th at the event, hosted by Wabash College.

Seitz went 3-2 on the day for the Pointers, finishing fifth. He recorded two pins on the day including a fall in 3:34 in the fifth place match over Elliot Henderson of the University of Chicago.

Anthony Friese (Hortonville, WI/Waupaca) and Logan Hermsen (Amherst Junction, WI/Amherst) each tallied two victories on the day for the Pointers while Ben Vosters (Hatley, WI/Wittenberg-Birnamwood), Dylan Diebitz (West Allis, WI/Central) and Cody Nielsen (Oconto Falls, WI/Oconto Falls) each tallied one.

The Pointers conclude the 2014-15 campaign with a dual meet record of 6-11 overall, 3-2 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The Pointers posted a third place finish at the conference championships.
