Cody Hanke (Marathon, WI/Marathon) helped the second-ranked UW-Stevens Point baseball team post a pair of come-from-behind victories on Sunday afternoon against the visiting Eagles of UW-La Crosse.

Harry Steldt (West Bend, WI/West) poked a one-out offering into right field, scoring
Ben Gerber (Stoughton, WI/Stoughton) and knotting the score at 3-3.
In the 10th, Hanke gave the Pointers the victory with his bases-loaded drive down the right field line, bringing home
Casey Barnes (Mequon, WI/Homestead) and giving the Pointers the walk-off victory, 4-3.

Zach Wendorf (Merrill, WI/Merrill) went four innings, allowing three runs, all earned, and struck out three before giving way reliever
Luke Watson (Appleton, WI/Xavier), who threw six scoreless innings to secure the win. Watson scattered three hits and struck out five.
Brandon Kranz (Waukesha, WI/West) was the only Pointer to register multiple hits in the game, also driving in one run.

A five-run fifth that included a grand slam by Alex Cordova gave the Eagles the lead again, 8-3.
A two-run home run by Hanke in the home half of the fifth cut the Eagles lead to 8-5. A two-out double by Hanke in the sixth helped cap a five-run frame and put the Pointers in front for good, 10-8.
Tyler Flood (Madison, WI/La Follette) pitched a scoreless ninth to cap a three inning outing and get the save. Starter
Max Frederick (New London, WI/New London) went 4.1 innings and received a no decision while reliever
Nick Prebelski (Green Bay, WI/Notre Dame) pitched 1.2 innings and was the pitcher of record.
Hanke drove in four runs and Rose three on a pair of hits each.
