Brandon Kranz (Waukesha, WI/West) each had four hits and drove in four runs in fifth-ranked UW-Stevens Point's 13-2 win over William Paterson on Monday morning at Lake Myrtle Main Field.

Spetz was 4-for-5 with two runs and 4 RBIs and Kranz was 4-for-4 with a run and 4 RBIs as part of a 16-hit game for UW-Stevens Point (5-1). The Pointers scored in each of the first four innings and had four multi-run innings, including a five-run eighth.
Luke Watson (Appleton, WI/Xavier) gave up single runs in the fifth and sixth but struck out 11 in his first career start for UWSP. The sophomore gave up just three hits and one walk in six innings before
Nick Prebelski (Green Bay, WI/Notre Dame) and
Kody McHugh (Mosinee, WI/Mosinee) shut the Pioneers down in the final two innings.
Kranz drove in two runs with a single in the first, one more with a third-inning double and a fourth with a single in the eighth. Spetz singled in two in the sixth and added RBI singles in the second and fourth innings.
UW-Stevens Point scored eight runs off of William Paterson starter Joe Moran but only three were earned, as the Pioneers committed five errors in the game.
Bryton Guckenberg (Trego, MT/Lincoln County) was 2-for-5 with a double, triple and two RBIs for UWSP.
