WHITEWATER, Wis. – The No. 6 UW-Stevens Point wrestling team lost on the road to conference rival No. 13 UW-Whitewater 26-15 Tuesday night.

Craig Brandvold (Merrill, WI/Merrill) won via pin for the Pointers (12-3, 3-1 WIAC) in the 184 pound match.

Lance Fabry (Ashwaubenon, WI/Ashwaubenon) earned a 6-4 win in the 125 pound match, and James Rogers (Spencer, WI/Spencer) won 12-6 at 174 pounds.

Dustin Wozniak (Stanley, WI/Stanley-Boyd) earned the Pointers' final win with a 6-5 triumph at 197 pounds.

The loss to the Warhawks (12-2, 5-0 WIAC) is the Pointers' first WIAC loss of the season.

UWSP travels to UW-La Crosse on Friday, Feb. 8 for a 6:30 p.m. match.
