ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The UW-Stevens Point women's cross country team posted a second-place finish at the 2012 Brissman/Lundeen Invitational at the Saukie Golf Course Friday afternoon.

Sophomore
Julia Colling (Maplewood, MN/North) finished the day as the Pointers' top finisher, posting a time of 22:37.9, good for a fifth-place finish.
Rounding out the top 20,
Ana Breit (Stevens Point, WI/Pacelli) finished 16th, posting a time of 23:04.7.
Elsewhere for the Pointers,
Lauren Dilley (Middleton, WI/Middleton) and
Kelsey Laska (Roscoe, IL/Hononegah) finished 23rd and 24th, respectively, with times of 23:22.7 and 23:22.9.
Melissa Kohlagen finished 36th with a time of 23:35.3.
Annie Olson (Stillwater, MN/Stillwater) and
Paige Haberkorn (Oconomowoc, WI/Oconomowoc) finished 56th and 58th, posting times of 23:58.7 and 24:04.3.
UW-Stevens Point returns to action on Sept. 29 at the Roy Griak Invitational in Minneapolis.
