ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – Junior Dan Sullivan (Elkhorn, WI/Elkhorn) outran the field and finished as the individual champion at the 2012 Brissman/Lundeen Invitational at the Saukie Golf Course Friday afternoon.

As a team, the Pointers posted a second-place finish out of 34 teams.
 
Sullivan led the field by posting a time 25:06.9.
 
Also finishing in the top-10, Evan Cooper (Delafield, WI/Kettle Moraine) came in sixth, posting a time of 25:30.5.
 
Elsewhere for the Pointers, Reuben Frey (Palatine, IL/Palatine) placed 10th with a time of 25:42.6. James Heroux (Sturgeon Bay, WI/Sevastopol) finished 13th, posting a time of 25:45.2. Logan Siepel and Spencer Houk (Sun Prairie/Sun Prairie) finished 19th and 26th, respectively, with times of 25:57.8 and 26:05.2. Freshman Neil Pedersen (Clarendon Hills, IL/Clarendon HIlls) finished 43rd, posting a time of 26:23.5.
