WINNECONNE, Wis. - Evan Cooper (Delafield, WI/Kettle Moraine) won the individual title, leading the UW-Stevens Point men's cross country team to the team title at the UW-Oshkosh Open at Lake Breeze Golf Course on Friday.

Cooper posted the fastest time of the day by nearly a minute, finishing in 26:17. Cody Reisterer was second at 27:12, while Joey Kinscher was also in the top five, finishing fourth in 27:24.

Bryan Jensen (27:42) and Jed Dodge (27:43) made it five Pointers in the top ten by running to eighth and ninth-place finishes, respectively. Zach Klein and Wesley Vann (Brookfield, WI/Brookfield) were 11th and 14th.

With five top-ten runners, UWSP won the team title with a total of 24 points. UW-Platteville and UW-Oshkosh rounded out the field, finishing with 49 and 55 points, respectively.

UW-Stevens Point will run at the WIAC Championship in River Falls on Saturday, November 2.
