MENOMONIE, Wis. – Senior guard
Cassie Bandow (Plover, WI/Pacelli) led all scorers with 15 points as the UW-Stevens Point women's basketball team pushed its win streak to eight games with a 65-44 victory over UW-Stout Wednesday evening at Johnson Fieldhouse.

Taylor Bahr (Caledonia, WI/Shoreland Lutheran) added 11 points apiece in the winning effort.
The Pointers (21-3, 13-2 WIAC) opened the game with an 11-0 run through the first three minutes. A three-pointer by Bandow extended Point's lead to 30-5 with just over seven minutes remaining in the first half and the Pointers entered halftime with a 35-13 lead.
A pair of free throws by Bahr early in the second half gave Point a 50-19 advantage, its largest lead of the game.
Brea Boomer was the only Blue Devil (6-18, 2-13 WIAC) to reach double figures, scoring 11 points.
The Pointers travel to UW-Eau Claire Saturday, Feb. 18 for a 3 p.m. match-up with the Blugolds.
