STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's volleyball team fell to UW-Eau Claire in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship final on Saturday, 3-0 (25-18, 25-21, 25-18).

In the third-place match earlier in the day, UW-Whitewater defeated UW-Oshkosh 3-0. Box Score

Sarah Wildish (Menomonee Falls, WI/Menomonee Falls) and Cassidy Kohlhagen (Racine, WI/Union Grove) led the Pointers with nine digs apiece, and Alexis Hartman (Deer Park, IL/Lake Zurich) had a team-high 22 assists.

The loss snapped an eight-game winning streak for UWSP, which had also won 13 of its previous 14 matches entering Saturday's championship game. 

The NCAA Division III Tournament field will be announced on Monday, Nov. 5.
