WINNECONNE, Wis. – Julia Colling (Maplewood, MN/North) posted a time of 22:10 to finish in ninth place to pace the UW-Stevens Point women's cross country team to an 11th-place finish out of 40 teams at the 2012 NCAA Regional Championships Saturday.

Colling's finish qualifies her for the 2012 National Championship on Nov. 17 in Terre Haute, Ind.
 
This marks the third straight season the Pointers have qualified at least one runner for the national championship field.
 
Elsewhere for the Pointers, Haley Steig (Osseo, WI/Osseo-Fairchild) finished 57th with a time of 23:11, Lauren Dilley (Middleton, WI/Middleton) finished 82nd with a time of 23:33, and Paige Haberkorn (Oconomowoc, WI/Oconomowoc) finished 96th with a time of 23:55.
