FOND DU LAC, Wis.- The UW-Stevens Point women's soccer team slid past the Sabres of Marian University 1-0 Sunday afternoon in non-conference action.

Both the Pointers and Sabres were held scoreless throughout the entire first half.
 
The lone goal of the game came as Pointers forward Kim Jobke (Menomonee Falls, WI/Sussex Hamilton) scored in the 84th minute, unassisted, to give UWSP the 1-0 win.

Pointers goalkeeper Mary Burch (Center City, MN/Chisago Lakes) tallied three saves on the afternoon while her counterpart Caitlyn Rosenberger stopped two.

UW-Stevens Point returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 13 as it hosts the UW-Stout Blue Devils. Action begins at 2 p.m.
