LISLE, Ill. – The UW-Stevens Point volleyball team capped off the Benedictine University Tournament and the regular season by sweeping both North Park and Benedictine Saturday.

Sarah Wildish (Menomonee Falls, WI/Menomonee Falls) led the Pointers with 12 kills and Morgan Bartkowiak (Slinger, WI/Slinger) followed with 10 as the Pointers defeated North Park 25-23, 25-12, 25-15.

Hannah Picel (West Bend, WI/West Bend West) led all players with 14 digs, and Alexis Hartman (Deer Park, IL/Lake Zurich) finished with 35 assists.

In its second match Saturday, UWSP defeated Benedictine in three sets, 25-22, 25-20, 25-15.

Kati Rau (Dorchester, WI/Colby) led the Pointers will 11 kills and Wildish added a team-high 13 digs.

Bartkowiak and Hartman were named to the all-tournament team as the Pointers won all four of its matches in the tournament.

As 2012 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference champions, the Pointers will host the WIAC tournament in Berg Gym beginning Friday, November 2.
