WHITEWATER, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's soccer team had its six-game winning streak snapped Saturday when it lost to UW-Whitewater, 4-0.

Whitewater took a 1-0 lead into halftime with the teams tied in shots at nine each.
The Warhawks (12-4-1, 7-0 WIAC) tallied three goals in the second half despite being outshot by the Pointers (11-4, 5-3 WIAC) in the period, 14-7.
In all, UWSP outshot UWW, 23-16.
Sammy Greer (Rubicon, WI/Hartford) led the Pointers with seven total shots, four on goal.
The Pointers travel to Madison Sunday, Oct. 21 to face Edgewood for a 4 p.m. match.
