WINNECONNE, Wis. - The UW-Stevens Point men's cross country team placed fifth Saturday afternoon at the Brooks Invitational hosted by UW-Oshkosh.

Junior Dan Sullivan (Elkhorn, WI/Elkhorn) finished the day as the Pointers' top finisher, posting a time of 25:25 and placing 11th overall.

James Heroux (Sturgeon Bay, WI/Sevastopol), Logan Seipel (Colfax, WI/Colfax), Evan Cooper (Delafield, WI/Kettle Moraine) and Spencer Houk (Sun Prairie/Sun Prairie) all finished in the top 50 for the Pointers in a field of 500 runners.

The Pointers return to action Friday, Oct. 19 as they travel back to Winneconne for the Oshkosh Dual meet. In two weeks the Pointers will travel to Platteville for the WIAC Championships.
