Women's cross country finishes 10th

Results

MINNEAPOLIS – The UW-Stevens Point women's cross country team placed all five of its runners in the top 90 in a field of nearly 400 runners to finish in 10th place at the Roy Griak Cross Invitational, hosted by the University of Minnesota.

Senior Kelly Haen (Kaukauna, WI/Kaukauna) paced the Pointers with a 16th-place finish, posting a time of 23:12.6. Freshman Julia Colling (Maplewood, MN/North) finished in 51st place, posting a time of 24:21.3. Sophomores Kelsey Laska (Roscoe, IL/Hononegah) and Annie Olson (Stillwater, MN/Stillwater) finished 62nd and 70th, respectively. Junior Abby Reynolds (Windlake, WI/Warterford Union) finished in 89th place to round out UWSP's top five.

The Pointers will next take to the course on Sept. 30 when the team heads to the Notre Dame Invitational in South Bend, Ind.
