ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - Katie Goplerud paced the UW-Stevens Point women's cross country team with a 64th place finish on Friday evening at the 2011 Brissman/Lundeen Cross Country Invitational at the Saukie Golf Course in Rock Island, Ill. 

The Pointers finished 13th in the field of 27 teams. The event featured 323 runners from around the Midwest. Olivet Nazarene University placed all five runners in the top-25 to take home the team title.

Goplerud finished with a time of 24:08.8, followed by Erica Class and Emilia Kenow (La Crosse, WI/La Crosse Logan), who finishe in 79th and 80th place, respectively. 

Paige Haberkorn (Oconomowoc, WI/Oconomowoc) finished 82nd and Nicle Hillman finished 84th to round out the top-five finishers for UWSP. 

The Pointers return to action Saturday, Sept. 24 at the Roy Griak Invitational in Minneapolis.
