MEQUON – The UW-Stevens Point women's cross country team placed four runners in the top-15 on Saturday en route to a second place finish at the 20th annual Concordia Invitational.
Newcomer
Paige Haberkorn (Oconomowoc, WI/Oconomowoc) finished the day as the Pointers top finisher, posting a time of 24:52.4, good for seventh place. Rounding out the top-15,
Kathryn Goplerud (Elgin, IL/South ) finished 13th,
Emilia Kenow finished 14th and
Molly Cobb (Madison, WI/LaFollette) finished 15th, all with sub-25:31 times.
Elsewhere,
Nikki Bruhn (Marshfield, WI/Marshfield) and
Kati Long (Green Bay, WI/Preble) finished 23rd and 24th, respectively, with times of 25:56.4 and 25:58.3.
Amanda Ross (Wilton, WI/Brookwood) finished 35th with a time of 26:36.1, Caitlin Kitson finished 48th with a time of 27:41, Chandler Mellon finished 55th with a time of 28:02.6,
Bethany Kautz (Bartlett, WI/Westminister Christian) finished 63rd with a time of 28:38.7,
Julie Krzykowski (Junction City, WI/SPASH) finished 69th with a time of 28:44.6 and
Cassandra Caine (Watertown, WI/Dodgeland) finished 76th with a time of 29:19.3.
