STEVENS POINT - Senior Kaitlin Wolf tallied 27 kills and Morgan Bartkowiak (Slinger, WI/Slinger) added 25 of her own as the Pointers improved to 6-0 on the season, matching the program's best start since 2004 with a pair of victories on Saturday. 

The Pointers started the morning with a 3-2 victory over Central College (26-24, 25-17, 19-25, 15-25, 15-10) and capped off the perfect 4-0 weekend with a 3-1 nonconference victory over UW-Superior (25-23, 17-25, 25-17, 25-22). 

Morgan Bartkowiak (Slinger, WI/Slinger) led the way against Central (Iowa) with 15 kills on 29 attempts while Kaitlin Wolfe (Roscoe, IL/Newman Catholic) chipped in 14 and Kati Rau (Dorchester, WI/Colby) added 10. Chantel York (Lake Geneva/Badger) added 45 assists and Lauren Krum (Muskego/Muskego) added 28 digs in the five set victory. 

The Pointers capped off their invitational tournament victory with a four game victory against conference foe UW-Superior. Wolfe capped her day with another double-digit kill total, adding 13. Bartkowiak and Erin Baudhuin (Brussels/Southern Door) each added 10 kills in the victory. York tallied 22 assists in two games while Cassidy Kohlhagen (Racine, WI/Union Grove) added 21. 

The Pointers (6-0) look to improve on their perfect start when they return to action Sept. 10-11 at the UW-Oshkosh tournament.
