OSHKOSH – Senior Mary Jean Cornelius (West Bend) tallied her first goal of the season in the 32nd minute, providing the only offense the UW-Stevens Point women's soccer team needed on their way to a 1-0 victory over UW-Oshkosh.

The win keeps the nation's ninth-ranked Pointers' record unblemished at a perfect 9-0 overall, 4-0 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Liz Hunter (Stevens Point) tallied five saves in leading the Pointers to their seventh shutout of the season. The win also marked the fourth straight victory by UW-Stevens Point over the Titans.

UW-Stevens Point returns home to face the Blue Devils of UW-Stout on Saturday, Oct. 2 at 2 p.m.
